Seniors Bible Study

Job 12:12-13, "Wisdom is with aged men, with long life is understanding. With Him are wisdom and might; to Him belong counsel and understanding."

A place for friendship:

The Seniors' Bible Study group meets at 1:00 p.m. every Wednesday at Scandia Shores, in Shoreview. Scandia Shores is located at 418 Highway 96 (near the intersection of Hodgson Road and Highway 96).

More about us:

Although all who attend are "seniors" there is a variety of people here in the group, which averages between 20 to 24 people a week:

• Some members attend River of Life Church and others are from other backgrounds.
• Some attendees live in Scandia Shores and some outside the Scandia Shores community.
• Some have attended since the study began in 1998 and some are newcomers.
• Some are struggling with physical infirmities that accompany the aging process and some are able to help those who do have these struggles.

And the list goes on, but new people are ALWAYS welcome!

A place for faith:

The general format is a one hour long faith study. The study is led by Rube Bonin and is generally an in-depth study, verse by verse, going through a book of the Bible. There is also a time to share prayer requests and praise reports of what God has done.

A place for fellowship:

There is a 1/2-hour fellowship time after the Bible Study. During this time we might share some coffee and a treat, chat with one another, encourage one another, and make new friends.
